As protective agency (OPA) we constantly monitor and control the operations, to ensure that no unnecessary delays are caused, and if there are, that they are properly accounted for on the vessel’s SOF. Your eyes and ears during port call.

Protecting your assets from the ground. We work closely with your appointed agents to ensure cost-effectiveness and safeguard your interests. We supervise the charterer’s agent during the vessel’s call at the port.

• Checking proforma D/A submitted by the head agent for compliance with applicable tariffs,
• Receipt of owners ‘funds and payment to head agent,
• Reporting the vessel/cargo status, as required,
• Checking of all cargo documents/SOF/NOR/ time sheets for correctness, notifying owner if not, and issuing letters of protest,
• Vetting thoroughly Documents against Acceptance (DA) to prevent overcharges and ensure accurate billing,
• Reporting of port call operation in format required by owner,
• Letter Of Protest for discrepancies and damages,
• Verification of Bills of Lading,
• Supervise the charterer’s agency functions,
• Monitor port call operations.
